Website Basic Mock Up

For my website I made a very basic mock to give my target audience a brief and general idea of what my website will be like. This gave my audience a chance to realise how they can navigate the audience. This would also give me the chance to make any adaptations if there was something wrong with my website that I would need to change.

For the home page, I want there to be clear links in the three parts of my project. Therefore on my website homepage it will include a link to the video I created as well as the DigiPak cover. The home page will be the main aspect of the website so will have to be engaging and exciting, Therefore I will use relevant colours to my target audience and become an interactive and engaging website that they are able to use.

The feedback I got about the home page is that it was very clear layout and is easy for users to know where everything is. There also is not any hidden features so they will not be missing out on information that they be looking for

Further from the Home page, the other pages will have the same background to what the home page has, but apart from that they will all be very minimalistic as once the users are engaged and click on to a subpage, there are already interested, therefore the home page will need to be the most strongest aspect of the website.

The audience liked the idea of the about page as i is giving them more information about the music. However they said it looked a bit plain like that if it is just going to be text. This made me realise I do need to add something to it. Because my audience is a younger one, a page with just text on it wont really entice them to read it and may stray away from my website

The music page was crucial to the mock up. As it is a music artist this page is needed. This gives fans access to the music of the artist they are coming for. An idea from one member of my audience feedback was that it would be a good idea to have the music video in this section too so that the DigiPak and video are in the same place.

This page is on the majority of music artists websites. This meant that I felt I should include it as it gives fans information and access to things they may not know without the website. This is the same as the contact page. They won't be detailed as the information needs to be put across concisely and clearly to audiences.
