Time Schedule

When doing a big project that has lots of different planning and parts to it, it is essential to have a schedule. This time schedule will help to know if I am on track or if I am running behind. It will also help me to make sure I do keep to a time so I don’t do things last minute or forget anything. I have given myself plenty of time to film and edit, however I am unsure if I have put filming too early and if I will be able to fit in all the activities before on time such as research or ideas and design. I am also worried about holidays (highlighted in green) and if I am able to do the essential parts of this project at home without the resources I have a school, and if I have enough feedback from audience as that is such a huge essential of a project like this as audience input is key to anything someone is creating.

I will stick to the schedule as best as I can so I can achieve the best outcome of my task, but if I do over run a certain project or feel I need to add more, I will be constantly updating the schedule. Also leaving 3 weeks to finalise everything helps give me a tiny bit of back up space if I do over run a certain part of this assignment.

Update 26th October 2016

After creating this time plan, i realised i underestimated how much planning and specific aspects of this project would take. I mainly focused on the video as I knew out of the three projects this would be the most time consuming and most important as it is worth a big chunk of my over all grade. That therefore meant that I was happy to leave the Web and DigiPak side of the project where it was. I realised that the design aspect for me to know exactly what i'm shooting (as I am looking to shoot next week) will have to be pretty precise so I can film quicker and use my time to the best of my ability. Therefore the design aspect of my time plan has to be readjusted.

Update 4th November

After updating the time plan previously I was starting to move on with shooting the video fairly quickly. However, once I started to shoot I realised I had not done nearly enough testing. Furthermore, many aspects of my original design had to be reconsidered as they were either unrealistic to do or I was unable to do them under the strict deadline that was set in place. This meant I had to rethink the design of my video. This means that I may need more testing to do in the future and hopefully keep to this plan as best I can. Again the DigiPak and Website will be done in the holidays as I am unable to work on my video at home.
